In the past few weeks I’ve become a wall sliding champion. I’ve seriously lost count of how many frustrating phones calls and endless web searches has led to me crying dramatically in the fetal position. Why I thought my random, late night decision to move to NYC would be easy is still a mystery. But it’s happening and fast! In between searching for a moving company, writing lists and trying to figure out how many laws of physics I’ll have break to fit MY clothes into a NYC apartment I reflect on my life up until this point… and then I write more lists. Through this entire process I’ve been extremely anxious but more scared than anything. Oddly enough my fear has kept me motivated through this experience. Well, that and the fact that I already put down money for my apartment.

I can tell you right now that every post from this point on will probably feature a leather item. Somebody stop me. Guys, I’m seriously obsessed with all things leather/leather-like. I’m wearing my faux leather pants from Lane Bryant and the fit is honestly questionable. They give crazy crotch in the worst way, require tons of adjusting and still I love them. I threw on my faux leather top (are you seeing the theme?) from F21+, a random plaid top from the thrift and these cute booties for brunch in Brooklyn with my bestie.
